ABOUT KOTA CANCER SOCIETY

Cancer is emerging as a major health problem in India. With the spread of industrialization, pollution, and Western lifestyle, there is an alarming increase in the incidence of cancer.

So, there was a strong need to start a battle against cancer in an organized manner. Like-minded citizens of Kota came forward, and The Kota Cancer Society was formed in June 1982.

This society has been committed to taking comprehensive care of cancer patients and steps for its prevention.

In this context, KOTA CANCER HOSPITAL AND RESEARCH CENTRE came into existence, inaugurated by the Vice President of India, Late Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, on 28th April 2007.

Kota Cancer and Multi-speciality Hospital (renowned as Kota Cancer Hospital & Research Centre), run by Kota Cancer Society, a charity trust, is the only hospital exclusive for cancer patients in the Hadoti region of Rajasthan. It caters to the needs of cancer patients in Kota, Bundi, Baran, Jhalawar, Sawai Madhopur, Rawatbhata, and rural and urban areas of adjoining states since April 2007.
