On World Cancer Day, February 4, 2024, the Kota Cancer Society organized a free cancer detection camp in the morning, followed by an evening educational seminar. The seminar featured expert insights from doctors and inspiring stories from cancer survivors. Additionally, the chief guest, Shri Rajesh ji Birla, unveiled the society's refreshed website during the event.
In a significant move to promote a tobacco-free community, the Kota Cancer Society held a successful poster launch event on World No Tobacco Day, May 31. The event took place at 10:00 AM at SP Dr. Amrita Duhan's office on Baran Road, Army Area Nayapura Kota. The event was graced by the presence of SP Dr. Amrita Duhan, who inaugurated the poster campaign. Executive members, both old and new, along with other distinguished guests, attended the event to show their support and commitment to the cause.
The SpARC wing of Brahmakumaris initiated a project at Kota Cancer Hospital, integrating Rajayog meditation into holistic healing for cancer patients. A dedicated meditation centre was inaugurated within the hospital premises, where Rajyog practitioners regularly guide patients through healing meditation and spiritual counseling. Brahma Kumaris' global presence in over 140 countries underscores the universal need for peace and tension-free living.

The society has been organizing regularly free cancer detection camps in Hospital Building premises, in various parts of Rajasthan and India. A team of dedicated doctors examine the patients and conduct investigations like FNAC, Biopsy, Pap smear, Cancer Markers etc. for early detection of cancer.
It is not known to many in India that Cancer is a preventable disease. More than half of total cancer cases can be avoided by changing life style and giving up bad habits like smoking, tobacco chewing and observing certain other precautions. To achieve the same, our Society is carrying out extensive health education and awareness programmes, arranging exhibitions, group discussions, press write ups and public lecturers in Hadoti region.
