Facilities in the Hospital

Diagnostic Facilities

The hospital consists of a fully-fledged Pathology Laboratory, X-ray, Sonography, Mammography, and facilities for Cancer Markers, Bone-marrow aspiration, Bone marrow biopsy, Cytology for malignant cells, and all the necessary facilities for Cancer diagnosis. We also have a facility for Cobalt Therapy.

Treatment Facilities

The Medical Oncology Department is well-equipped and run under the supervision of the well-known Medical Oncologist Dr. Hemant Dadhich. A fully equipped Operation Theater, Post-Operative care, and ICU are also available. A General ward with 30 beds and a palliative ward with individual rooms have also been provided to care for terminal cases of cancer. Regular services are provided by Surgical Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, and Radiotherapist.

Research

The Society is actively participating in research in various aspects of cancer care. The Kota Cancer Hospital and Research Centre will now serve as a center for conducting research.

Training of Professionals

The Society sponsors doctors for training in different institutions to provide the latest information on all aspects of cancer. The Society regularly organizes CMEs and symposia by eminent cancer specialists to update the knowledge of doctors in the Hadoti region.
