I am delighted to inform that various organizations and segments of society have joined hands with the Kota Cancer Society to fight the battle against the dreaded disease, Cancer.

People and their elected representatives have helped the society to build the Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Kota. Shri Shanti Dhariwal, former Minister of Urban Development and Local Self-Bodies, Government of Rajasthan; Shri Raghuveer Singhji Kaushal, MP; Shri Lalit Kishor Chaturvadi, MP; Shri Bhuvnesh Chaturvedi, Ex-Minister, Prime Minister's Office; Shri Dharmendra Bhatnagar (IAS), Shri C.P. Jhamb, Site Director, Rajasthan Atomic Power Station Rawatbhata; Mr. O.P. Gupta from Malaysia; Dr. S.K. Dhariwal from England and his family; Shri Mukesh Chattar and Family; Shri P.C. Kothari from Bundi; Shri Bharat Modi from Indore; Shri Amolak Chand Jain (Chunawala), Vineeta Agarwal from USA,Anita Mehta from USA, Sh. Surjeet Singh Jerath from USA, Allen Career Institute, Career Point, Shri Ishwar Lal Saini, Shri Gordhan Lal Soni, Shri S.N. Porwal, Shri B.D. Sharma, Shri Anand Rathi, Dr. V.P. Gupta & Family and other socially oriented persons have provided tremendous help for the project. Late Mr. M.L. Sharda from Guntkal also donated Rs. 10 Lakhs to the Society for the construction of the Cobalt Therapy Building at MBS Hospital.

Although this generous help is gratefully acknowledged, there is still a need to generate more funds to purchase sophisticated equipment for the Cancer Hospital for uplifting its facilities by establishing a CT Scan, Linear Accelerator for Radiotherapy, MRI, PET Scan etc. I appeal to all kind-hearted people to donate generously for this noble cause of humanity. Come forward to join hands with the Kota Cancer Society, lending your support by 'tan-man-dhan.'

The contributions made to the society are exempted from income tax under Section 80G of Income Tax Act. Also, contributions from foreign donors are acceptable to the society under the FCRA Act. The society is also eligible to receive funds under CSR.
